February 2025 – Present
Embedded as a Lead UX Consultant within IBM, working across digital transformation initiatives and contributing UX expertise to complex, large-scale products and services.
February 2025 – Present
Working on the design of the new Vaping Products Duty – the first new excise tax in over 100 years. Using the GDS Prototype Kit, I collaborated with UK manufacturers of all sizes to understand their needs and shape the experience for completing monthly returns.
January 2024 – February 2025
Led the redesign and streamlining of BT’s Billing Platform – a service that previous teams had attempted and walked away from. I overhauled the entire end-to-end journey, working within BT’s new pattern library and making the platform scalable across businesses of all sizes, from a single-site coffee shop to a large multinational.
August 2021 – January 2024
Redesigned a legacy platform used by over 100,000 users a month, defining five core areas of the product and running user testing at every stage. I also proposed and built Amethyst – Gamma’s design system – from scratch, creating consistency across design and development and giving the wider team a solid foundation to build on.
November 2019 – September 2021
Designed enterprise software solutions for fraud protection and identity theft, leading on flagship products PowerCurve Insights and Experian One. I ran user research, created personas and journeys, and contributed to the Experian Design System to help global teams build consistent experiences more efficiently.
July 2019 – November 2019
Dug into customer feedback across Trustpilot and Zendesk to identify the biggest pain points, then redesigned the checkout flow and stock availability experience. I also built out a fully personalised account area, turning what was a frustrating process into one that could be completed in just two clicks for returning customers.
June 2016 – July 2019
Designed across three software platforms for a healthcare services provider, working directly with hospital staff and management to understand real-world workflows. Delivered process flows, wireframes, on-site research visits, and full UI prototypes – gathering first-hand user feedback at every stage.
May 2015 – June 2016
Researched and designed across the UNiDAYS website, mobile site and native applications. I took designs from wireframe through to prototyping, tested across multiple devices, languages and scenarios, and worked closely with stakeholders to get sign-off before handing to development.
June 2014 – May 2015
Redesigned the See Tickets mobile experience from the ground up – replacing a desktop site that had simply been shrunk to fit a phone. I created user journeys, wireframes and prototypes, built out the UI, and monitored user behaviour post-launch via Google Analytics to catch and fix any drop-off points.
October 2013 – December 2014
Worked within a close-knit agency team on digital projects – designing responsive websites, creating functionality reports and site maps, and producing mobile interfaces and prototypes for client sign-off.
April 2013 – May 2014
Led a full company rebrand covering two product sectors – Education and Workplace. Designed everything from exhibition stands up to 15 metres wide down to print materials in multiple languages, and produced brand guidelines running to over 100 pages.
February 2012 – July 2012
Designed over 400 personalised cake designs and configured the customisable text fields that let customers personalise their orders directly on the Baker Days website.
June 2011 – April 2013
Designed the look and feel of software for the Golden-i hands-free headset computer – a completely new design challenge with no real precedent. I conceived the LifeBoard concept and designed the Pro Series apps: Paramedic Pro, Police Pro and Firefighter Pro.
January 2011 – March 2011
Worked on client briefs for brands including Fruli and Burton Albion FC, creating a full brand style guide covering signage, print and stadium graphics.
June 2010 – January 2012
Handled all marketing collateral – brochures, flyers, packaging and social media – including the Maxi:Cut blade range, which was distributed across over 300 B&Q stores nationwide.
January 2010 – January 2011
Worked across a varied mix of projects at this creative studio – from CD artwork and van graphics to calendar design – while getting involved in client meetings to sharpen my understanding of briefs.
